Based on the latest radar and surface observations...scattered showers remain over the fcst area this evening. Ir satellite imagery shows scattered convective clouds over the waters...which will ride into the cwa through the evening and overnight in continued brisk northwesterly flow aloft. As weak high pressure builds in later this evening and overnight...shower activity should dissipate and remain confined mainly to elevated terrain of the cascades and coast range. Current thinking is that the fog threat is marginal overnight. Model soundings indicate that the airmass will remain fairly stable overnight.
